Objective

• To train and develop current and prospective umpires of (all ages and skill) levels.
• Educate and explain the rules of baseball with emphasis on common sense and fair play to develop better umpires, coaches and players

(Rules session 1-2 hours a week with coaches)

• Provide the most comprehensive training program available.
• Opportunity to remain involved in baseball aside from being a player or coach.
• To assist advancement of umpire careers at the collegiate, high school and youth baseball levels.
• To expose and recommend umpiring opportunities at different levels of competitive baseball.

Serve as a preparatory course for

the Major League Baseball Umpire Camps (MLBUC) and for aspiring individuals considering a career as a major league or

minor league umpire.
