It is that time of the year when the MLB Youth Academy Compton recognizes its members who have strived for excellence! We are looking to acknowledge students who have achieved high grades and have performed superbly in the classroom during last semester/this semester. We welcome all members, who feel they meet the qualifications, to apply for this opportunity.

The student-athletes who qualify will be placed on our YA Compton “Academic Excellence Team 2023.” They will be awarded a Certificate of Recognition for their diligence and commitment to academic success.

If you are a current MLB YA Compton member/player who has achieved Academic Excellence this/last semester, we want to hear from you!
What are the criteria for the Academic Excellence Team?

1. Must be a current attending member of the MLB YA in Compton
2. Must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher
3. Must submit/upload a current copy of your report card or progress report (online during registration)
4. Must be in Middle School or High School (grades 6th through 12th)

Deadline for current grades or progress report submission is Monday, October 30th, 2023

Academic Excellence Team 2023 (AET) Celebration and Awards Presentation is on…
Saturday – November 11th, 2023 (Eldridge Eatman Pavilion)

Time: TBD

(We encourage our Academy Family Members to attend the awards ceremony.)
